Cooperation Professor Linos with medical journal

Professor Linos spoke about developments in the field of surgery with journalist Katerina Vasiliou, outlining the new surgical techniques without incision, in June 2010 issue of the monthly magazine on health In Vitro.
Particularly, in the article “Without Incisions’ were presented the revolutionary surgeries that have significantly changed the scenery in the area of surgery. Specifically, among other things was mentioned the Laparoscopic Surgery or “Minimally Invasive Surgery”, Laparoscopic Surgery a single incision (SILS), the Endoscopic Surgery Tools Needle (Needlescopic), Endoscopic surgery through the normal Hole (NOTES) and Robotic Surgery.
These innovative surgical methods aimed at small incisions in the skin or even the absence of cuts and the simultaneous reduction of postoperative pain and hospitalization.
For the article also collaborated Professor of Neurosurgery George Strantzalos ,Thoracic Surgeon Mr. Kosmas Iliadis and Orthopedic Surgeons Athanasios Koukakis and Dimitris Tsoukas.
