Professor Linos participated as a honorary guest at the 8thNational Endocrine Surgery Congress, invited by Assistant Professor Özer Makay, Vice-President of the Congress and Secretary of the Turkish Association of Endocrine Surgeons. The congress took place in Antalya, Turkey from April 27th to April 30th 2017.

The objective of the congresswas to discuss the current status of operational treatments, non-surgical alternatives, and complementary treatments. The conference focused in discussing “World’s Perspective on Thyroid Cancer” regarding the differences among thyroid cancer guidelines that exist internationally.

Professor Linos delivered a lecture entitled “What’s new in adrenal incidentalomas?” and participated in the panel “Who is more aggressive: The physician or the cancer?”composed of renowned professors Dr. Quan-Yang Duh and Dr. Hang-Seok Chang.
