Professor Linos at the Graduation Ceremony University of Nicosia Medical School of St George’s University of London Medical School

The University of Nicosia Medical School of St George’s University of London Medical School celebrated the commencement of the third medical class of Cyprus. Professor Linos is a Professor of Surgery in the Department of Medicine at the University of Nicosia Medical School since 2012. The ceremony took place at the Strovolos Municipal Theatre in Nicosia on the 5th of May.

Attending the graduation ceremony was the President of Parliament, representatives from the Ministries of Health and Education, the British High Commissioner, the Ambassadors of Ireland, Israel and Oman, the President of the Cyprus Medical Association, and representatives of many medical societies.

Professor of General Practice and Chairman of the UK’s National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) David Haslam was the keynote speaker.
