Professor Linos joined the Annual Meeting of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) & 16th World Congress of Endoscopic Surgery, which took place from April 11th through April 14th, in Seattle, WA.
The conference consisted of presentations of numerous papers, e-posters, and interesting case presentations regarding the essentials of minimally invasive and open general surgery. It also included updates and controversies in foregut, colorectal, hernia, bariatric and oncologic surgery, as well as flexible endoscopy.
In this year’s Congress the sessions named “Devil’s in the Details” returned, an in-depth aspect at various common procedures with surgical tips and techniques by experts. In addition, the “SAGES Masters Series” also returned. In-depth presentations grouped by topic were offered by master surgeons, providing techniques and tips that the participants could use immediately to take their practice to the next level.
